The Facilities Team at Discovery Academy, part of Alpha Academies Trust, is recruiting a permanent Facilities Assistant. The post centres on routine general maintenance across the site, with a sound awareness of security issues. The academy is one of the largest locally, with a faculty-based building, and the role runs 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Confident spoken English for daily contact with staff, students and visitors is essential, and an enhanced DBS check is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
