Facilities Project Manager
Wiltshire Area
GBP60-70k (including package of GBP7500 CA and Bonus)
Mechanical and Electrical minor works projects for Commercial Buildings

Are you a Project Manager working within the Facilities Management or Engineering Maintenance sector, capable of delivering small and minor works projects across the Wiltshire region?

This Facilities Management company is recruiting due to a healthy pipeline of minor works projects within their contracts across Wiltshire.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering small/minor works projects related to Mechanical and Electrical systems such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical lighting, and power. Project values range from GBP50k to GBP500k. Examples include LED lighting upgrades, boiler replacements, plumbing & heating systems, and air conditioning upgrades.

Given the focus on energy efficiency within commercial properties, you will also be tasked with generating a pipeline of future works by assessing asset lifecycle and managing client expectations regarding upgrades.

In this role, you will oversee project delivery, manage subcontractors, and ideally have contacts with reliable subcontractors to add to our supply chain.

Purpose Statement

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the profitable management and safe delivery of Mechanical and Electrical projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Technical Knowledge and Experience

  • Proficient knowledge of health & safety and environmental legislation
  • Fully conversant with CDM regulations and implementation
  • Relevant health & safety certifications (SMSTS preferred)
  • Extensive site management experience
  • Appropriate experience in the building services industry
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and procedures
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings
  • Good negotiation skills
  • IT skills
