Facilities Project Manager - SC Cleared

  • Location: Farnborough (2/3 days per week onsite)
  • Type: Permanent
  • Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
  • Clearance: Minimum of SC clearance with UKSV (must be DV eligible)

Overview

We're looking for a skilled Facilities Project Manager to lead the delivery of construction and fit-out projects, ensuring they meet client needs, quality standards, and security requirements. You'll manage projects from initiation to completion, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of building construction and fit-out projects.
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with landlords, contractors, and suppliers to ensure progress and compliance.
  • Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor selection.
  • Monitor project performance, risks, and costs, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Support recruitment, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in construction project management, ideally within an SME environment.
  • Proven track record delivering multi-million-pound projects.
  • Strong knowledge of UK construction methods, building regulations, and HSE standards.
  • Experience with design and build projects, including stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or project management.
  • SC security clearance (minimum).

Desirable

  • Degree in engineering, construction, or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with secure facility fit outs and capital project delivery.
  • Strong financial acumen and contract management experience.
