A leading UK water company is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee various projects, including structural ones on Thames Water buildings. The role demands experience in project management within a construction or engineering environment. Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety compliance, managing budgets, and liaising with multiple stakeholders. A car allowance is offered as part of the benefits package, which also includes 26 days of holiday plus bank holidays and a contributory pension plan.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects on Thames Water buildings. This includes structural projects (Lifecycle) and the delivery of facilities for staff (Welfare), on our large range of buildings, including Listed buildings and those of operational importance.
You will manage a portfolio of projects ranging from approximately £30,000 to £2 million, from scoping the projects from scratch to completion, including reporting throughout and managing the handover. This is a role that supports work-life balance. You will join a highly collaborative and supportive team and will be expected to travel across the Thames Valley and/or the London Region.
For this role, you will receive a car allowance, so a driving licence is required.
Location – Working out of the Ashford Common area of West London.
This role will require you to travel to multiple sites depending on the project that you are working on. You will be required to use your vehicle, but a car allowance is paid to you monthly.
Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
This role is known internally as a 'Project Engineer'.
