A leading aerospace company in Luton is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to enhance operational excellence. This two-year fixed-term contract role involves planning and delivering high-performing facilities and ensuring cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in facility management within a manufacturing environment and skills in project planning and communication.

Based at our Luton manufacturing plant youll do just that. Established in 1993 GKN Aerospace in Luton is a world leader in commercial and military ice protection systems and transparencies. Offering a full range of capabilities; design analysis testing certification and manufacture of electro-thermal ice protection military fast jet canopies and flight deck windows to over 20 programmes including : Boeing 787 Dreamliner Airbus A320 AgustaWestland AW101 Eurofighter Typhoon and Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor. Our customers include Boeing Airbus Lockheed Martin Bell Helicopters Textron BAE Systems Pratt & Whitney Leonardo. Our Luton site is home to 370 employees and onsite facilities including onsite parking food hub and vending machines.

Since 1993 our Luton facility has been at the forefront of aerospace technology proudly leading the way in commercial and military ice protection systems and transparencies. With a rich heritage and a reputation for excellence were now entering an exciting new chapter of transformation.
Were investing in the future - reimagining our workspace upgrading equipment and optimising our operations to meet growing demand and drive Facilities Project Manager youll play a pivotal role in this journey. Youll be responsible for planning and delivering high-performing workspaces facilities and equipment that boost capacity enhance reliability and keep operations running smoothly - all while ensuring cost efficiency and mitigating the impact on production schedules.
This position is a 2 year Fixed-term contract.
