Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a professional Painter & Decorator for HMP Channings Wood. The role is permanent, full-time (39 hours per week), located at the prison site, Denbury area in Newton Abbot, with a salary of £30,656.92 per annum.

The successful candidate will join a Facilities Maintenance Team dedicated to safe, reliable operation and rehabilitation-focused environment. You will work alongside trades and administrators to maintain/upkeep prison facilities to uphold

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Painting and decorating or equivalent (or significant experience)
• Experience working in a maintenance team
• Honest and reliable character with a sense of purpose and pace
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
