We are currently looking to recruit a Facilities Operative to join our award-winning team. If you're passionate about the Facilities Management industry, have a positive, can-do attitude, and pride yourself on delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you. Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. While experience in the Higher Education sector is desirable, it is not required.
Requirements:
A full, clean driving licence (valid in the UK) is essential, as the role involves regular use of university vehicles. You must have held your licence for at least 12 months, in line with our vehicle insurance requirements.
About the Role:
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Term Time Only – 38 weeks per year)
Start Date: September 2025
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 13:45–21:30
Friday: 12:15–20:00
(Some flexibility may be required to support open and visit days on weekends.)
As a Facilities Operative, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, customer-focused, compliant, and cost-effective service that supports the University's core operations.
