A healthcare organization in Hengoed is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Operative to enhance patient and customer experience. The role requires a passion for high-level customer service, flexible approach to duties, and offers on-the-job training. Ideal candidates will possess good communication skills, basic IT knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position is part-time with working hours from 15:00 to 20:00.
Job summary: Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities team as a Facilities Operative working within Domestic Services. This post is based at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital in Ystrad Mynach.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is committed to enhancing the patient & customer experience, therefore you must have a passion for providing a high level of customer service.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
The post-holder will undertake a range of specific work functions across the Facilities service.
The working hours will be 15:00 - 20:00.
The duties within each function will be set out in the relevant job schedules. The assignment of these duties will meet the priority needs and demands of the service as identified by the manager/supervisor. The post-holder will therefore be expected to take a flexible approach to their duties, and must also be able to cover rosters.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
