Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Technician to perform planned and reactive maintenance across DHWS, DCWS and HVAC in a busy education environment in Yorkshire. You will help keep facilities safe and systems running efficiently for staff and learners.

The role is 37 hours per week, with some weekend/evening rota work. Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent, plus MEWP experience and knowledge of COSHH and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience of PPM and reactive maintenance on DHWS, DCWS and HVAC systems.
• Proven ability to produce safe working procedures and risk assessments.
• Experience working from MEWPs.
• Self-motivated professional capable of multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across DHWS, DCWS and HVAC.
• Service, repair and replace thermostatic mixing valves.
• Maintain water quality across the facilities.
• Work from mobile elevated working platforms (MEWPs).
• Produce and follow safe working procedures, including risk assessments and COSHH.
• Manage multiple workloads and priorities across the site.
