Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.

Due
to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Facilities Manager - Water Hygiene to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We
are looking for a Facilities Manager - Water Hygiene who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

The Facilities Manager - Water Hygiene, will be responsible for:

*

Managing both subcontractors and a small team of maintenance technicians.

*

Attending client meetings and Water Safety Group meetings as required.

*

Reviewing water logbooks and implementing/reviewing water-related trackers (e.g., sampling results) to investigate any trends.

*

Reviewing legionella and Pseudomonas risk assessments and implementing associated actions.

*

Reviewing training requirements to ensure all staff and contractors are suitably trained for water hygiene tasks.

*

Implementing, reviewing, and conducting Toolbox Talks related to water hygiene.

*

Participating in Authorising Engineer (AE) audits and implementing any resulting actions.

*

Creating, implementing, and reviewing Water Written Schemes and Standard Operating Procedures.

*

Undertaking contractor meetings and performance reviews.

*

Reviewing and implementing policies and procedures relating to water hygiene.

*

Collaborating with the Infection Prevention Team on investigations and reporting findings to the Water Safety Group.

*

Participating in the contractor tendering process to ensure appropriate contractor selection.

*

Reviewing and updating asset lists, and managing the replacement of Point of Use (POU) filters.

*

Managing the PPM schedule for all water-related tasks and ensuring timely completion of remedial works.

*

Managing insurance inspections where required.

*

Carrying out Appointed Person duties for Confined Spaces when required.

*

Conducting site inductions for contractors and reviewing contractor RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).

*

Participating in the On Call procedure.

To be successful for this Facilities Manager - Water Hygiene role you must have:

*

A minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant roles within Water Hygiene or Facilities Management.

*

Demonstrable experience in water hygiene management, including large-scale tank cleans, installation projects, and tracker monitoring.

*

Experience working in a hospital setting, with considerable knowledge of healthcare engineering services.

*

Designation as a Water Hygiene Responsible Person (RP).

*

Strong analytical and judgement skills.

*

Experience and understanding of relevant legislation, including HSG274 and HTM04-01.

*

NEBOSH and/or IOSH qualifications.

*

Experience using CAFM systems, with knowledge in PPM planning and reactive maintenance.

*

A valid UK driving licence.
