A leading NHS Trust seeks a Band 7 Manager to oversee Logistics and Transport services. This role involves enhancing service delivery through effective leadership and compliance with operational standards, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient resource management.
Job summary
The post holder provides operational direction for the development of Logistics, Transport and Patient Movement at ward level to the Trust. The post holder will:
Provide leadership and support to ensure the effective, efficient and compliant delivery of operational targets and drive service improvements.
Regularly liaise with matrons, divisional clinical leads, departmental heads, infection control team and other senior managers regarding service performance standards.
Play a key role in supporting the Assistant Head of Facilities Services in the strategic planning and long term delivery of an effective and efficient service to the Trust that exceeds customer expectations

Develop and implement procedures to monitor performance of services in accordance with Service Level Agreements and external contracts.
Ensure monitoring data is recorded, analysed and reviewed; and appropriate recommendations made, auditing actions taken
Effectively communicate with senior clinical leads, heads of departments and the site team to ensure services are aligned to meet the Trusts operational and strategic targets
The effective planning of Logistics, Transport and patient Movement service operational systems to ensure the workforce is flexible and efficient to meet the Trusts requirements e.g. staff rosters, work schedules, work instructions and procedures
Suggest quality and cost improvements for all services and assist in their implementation.
Responsible for developing and implementing policies/procedures for logistics, Transport and patient movement.
