We're seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Facilities Manager to lead the oversight and management of our Stockport based site. This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant facilities that support high-performance production environments.

You'll be responsible for developing a forward-looking facilities strategy, managing capital projects, leading a skilled team, and driving continuous improvement across infrastructure and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain rolling facilities plan aligned with business goals
  • Lead capital planning, budgeting, and execution of facility upgrades
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance compliance
  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of manufacturing facilities
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance industry safety and security standards
  • Supervise and develop facilities and maintenance staff
  • Monitor operating costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Implement preventive maintenance and emergency response plans
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct inspections and risk assessments to mitigate hazards
  • Drive facility upgrades and capital improvement projects
  • Prepare RFQs, conduct contract reviews, and manage risk

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant engineering qualification
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (LOTO, PUWER, etc.)
  • Occupational Health and Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA)
  • Proven track record in delivering capital expenditure programmes
  • Experience with CMMS systems and contractor control
  • Background in engineering or maintenance supervision
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems
