Job summary

ISS is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take ownership of service delivery across a regional portfolio of sites, including local job centres and offices. The role focuses on managing hard and soft FM services, maintaining compliance, and delivering value for money while fostering strong client relationships within a regulated environment.

You will act as the primary interface between the client and operations, ensuring high standards and transparent practices.

Qualifications

• Experience managing client relationships in a complex contract environment.
• Strong people management and leadership experience.
• Knowledge of KPI/SLA tracking and reporting.
• Understanding of CAFM systems and maintenance standards (SFG20).

• Oversee hard and soft FM service delivery across multiple sites.
• Manage client relationships and proactively resolve service issues.
• Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to SFG20 maintenance standards.
• Manage site-based teams including supervisors, engineers and cleaners where applicable.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and service quality.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs and performance metrics using CAFM system (Maximo).
• Demonstrate high standards, transparency and compliance in service delivery.

Job description

You will take full ownership of service delivery across your allocated regional sites - 10 local job centres and offices.

Managing both building maintenance and contract cleaning, you will ensure performance, compliance, and value for money while maintaining strong client relationships within a complex and highly regulated environment.

You will act as the key interface between the client and operational teams, ensuring we consistently demonstrate high standards, transparency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee hard and soft FM service delivery across multiple sites
• Manage client relationships and proactively resolve service issues
• Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and SFG20 maintenance standards
• Manage site-based teams including supervisors, engineers, and cleaners (where applicable)
• Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance, and service quality
• Monitor and report on KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics using CAFM system (Maximo)
• Strong understanding of both hard and soft FM services
• Experience managing client expectations in a complex contract environment
• Previous people management / line management experience
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification
• Understanding of statutory compliance requirements
• Working towards Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Facilities Management
