Facilities Manager
Role Purpose

Reporting to the Site Lead, the Site Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing workplace services such as Catering, Cleaning, Housekeeping, Mailroom, Waste, and Portering within their deployed site. This role involves inspiring onsite teams and service partners to innovate and continuously improve, supporting the Site Lead as their deputy, and representing our services with high standards of delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and inspire the team, demonstrating a passionate commitment to the end user experience.
  2. Take responsibility for designated workplace activities and vendor partnerships.
  3. Be a visible point of contact for client colleagues and site occupants.
  4. Create and sustain first-class service provision to end users.
  5. Support site operations through audits and develop action plans for improvements.
  6. Maintain high standards for the visual image of the site.
  7. Drive ownership of workplace services and relationships within the site team.
  8. Ensure performance aligns with SLA agreements.
  9. Monitor vendor performance to ensure delivery as expected.
  10. Be a dependable leader, self-starter, and innovator with attention to detail.
  11. Promote safety culture within the site.
  12. Ensure client satisfaction with workplace services.
  13. Support client projects within expected parameters.
  14. Act as the interface between the client and vendor partners for all services.
  15. Support audits, reviews, and compliance activities.
  16. Support strategic development of all services.
  17. Identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and cost efficiency.
  18. Assist with occupancy planning and internal moves.
  19. Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
  20. Support financial processes and budget preparation.

  2. Participate in business continuity planning reviews.
  3. Maintain proactive relationships with end users and understand their needs.
  4. Support a collaborative working environment.
  5. Implement and follow HSE standards and practices.
  6. Report incidents and emergencies promptly.
  7. Manage and collaborate with vendors to resolve issues.
  8. Provide performance reports on vendor support.
  9. Support operational initiatives and projects.
  10. Manage vendor performance, motivate, train, and develop teams.
