Your Role

Facilities Maintenance Technicians are vital in collaborating across departments to address facility needs, coordinate repairs, and ensure maintenance, functionality, and compliance for manufacturing.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, including diagnostic testing.
  • Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment such as chillers, boilers, air handling units, and humidifiers.
  • Maintain and repair clean room equipment.
  • Support maintenance of utilities and HVAC systems, including HEPA installation and certification.
  • Assist with installation and provide technical guidance for automated machinery.
  • Perform building maintenance tasks, including repairs to doors, windows, and security systems.
  • Support electrical wiring and Siemens PLC needs as required.
  • Maintain refrigeration systems.
  • Operate tools and maintain equipment in a safe condition.
  • Prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks.
  • Estimate costs and procure tools and materials.
  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain documentation.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Technical certification, associate degree, or equivalent in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related role; experience in sterile injectable manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, electrical, HVAC, and manufacturing machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Rotational one-week on-call per month.
  • Full-time on-site work in York, PA.
