Job summary

Butlin's is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Operative to join our Facilities team in Skegness. You’ll support the leadership team across all aspects of resort maintenance, carrying out planned and reactive tasks to keep spaces safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and team members.

All tools are provided. The role runs five days across a seven-day rota, with hours 9:00 to 16:30 and one weekend plus one late shift (14:30–22:00) every seven weeks.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours and operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Support facilities leadership across maintenance tasks.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the estate.
• Assist with repairs, inventory management and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues and external service providers as needed.
• All tools and equipment required for the role are provided.
