Job summary

SYOS Aerospace is seeking a practical Maintenance Technician to keep facilities safe, functional and running smoothly. You’ll perform planned and reactive maintenance across workshops, offices, and site infrastructure, diagnosing faults and coordinating contractors as needed.

You’ll work closely with Production, Engineering and Health and Safety teams to maintain records, ensure safety, and minimise disruption to operations. A multi‑skilled, safety‑conscious candidate will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, facilities or multi‑skilled role.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform minor repairs safely on a commercial/industrial site.
• Good problem-solving and organisational skills with sound judgement on when to seek specialist support.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks for maintenance requests and records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance within competence across workshops, offices, building infrastructure and external areas.
• Diagnose faults, complete minor repairs, and coordinate contractors when needed.
• Maintain maintenance records, schedules, logs and asset information.
• Coordinate external contractors and service providers, including inductions and checks on completed work.
• Support site improvements and ensure health and safety standards are followed.
