Job summary

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Carpenter) to carry out skilled building/fabric trades work across CWPT estates. The role requires flexibility, proactive problem-solving and a customer-focused approach to maintain services to a full range of estates equipment.

You will complete allocated reactive tasks, ensure PPM and routine maintenance, carry out surveys and inspections, advise on materials and systems, and liaise with external contractors

Qualifications

• Experience in building/fabric trades
• Ability to work flexibly across CWPT estates
• Customer-focused approach and proactive problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Complete allocated reactive tasks as required
• Ensure all PPM and routine maintenance requirements are fulfilled
• Carry out building surveys and inspections of various services
• Advise on material, equipment and systems
• Maintain building and site service records
• Highlight Health & Safety issues relating to building, mechanical control and electrical issues
• Carry out investigation and testing on fire alarm and security systems
• Complete general building/building fabric DIY works
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers where necessary
