Are you a hands-on professional who enjoys keeping buildings in top condition and compliant with safety standards? Were looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a skilled estates team in a diverse and interesting environment, where every day brings something different.

The Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, youll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and inspections on systems such as emergency lighting, fire alarms, smoke detectors, evacuation alarms, ventilation units, and water systems. Youll use a tablet-based CAFM system to log and update tasks, complete minor remedial works where possible, and escalate any issues that need further action. Youll also support wider maintenance tasks alongside colleagues and contractors, working safely and in line with risk assessments.

What Were Looking For
The ideal Facilities Maintenance Technician will have experience maintaining large or varied estates, ideally with knowledge of CAFM systems. Youll be proactive, organised, and detail-focusedparticularly when caring for heritage or specialist buildings. Strong communication skills, basic IT competence, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
