Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery Leavesden is recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Assistant Lead to oversee maintenance across offices, sound stages, workshops and external areas, ensuring spaces are safe, functional and presentable.

You will support the Lead FMA, coordinate contractors, manage daily workflows and help develop a multi-skilled team while maintaining high standards and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience within construction, facilities or equivalent.
• Multi-trade capabilities across maintenance disciplines.
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe working practices.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Decorating skills and/or related qualifications.
• Ground works and drainage experience.
• CSCS card holder; IPAF/forklift certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Assist in developing long-term maintenance strategy aligned with department objectives.
• Coordinate contractors and oversee daily workflows.
• Maintain accurate records of works, materials and time spent.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and policies.
• Respond to emergencies and implement fixes to reduce downtime.
• Be the point of contact Out of Hours and support on-site team.
