Job description

Role: Facilities’ Maintenance Engineer role
Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
Working hours: Monday to Friday – 40 – 42.5 per week
Capacity of role: Permanent position
Salary: £26,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client based in Mildenhall. Applicants will be multi-skilled within mechanical and workshop practices.

Main duties will include:

1. Be responsible for Welding Tasks related to TIG/MIG along with Fabrication.
2. Support and be responsible for tasks related to Building Maintenance.
3. Monitor, run and maintain the Compressors/Plant/Forklifts onsite.
4. Attend to any Plumbing and Drain issues at all four sites.
5. Assist with Painting/Woodwork where needed within all four sites.
6. Assist other areas of the business in a Maintenance role as and when required.

Candidate attributes:

1. Experience in using a range of general workshop machinery and equipment.
2. Familiarity with Production Machinery and experience within a General Facilities Maintenance role.
3. Disciplined, self-motivated, and able to work as both an individual and as part of a team.
4. Required to work outside of normal working hours as and when necessary.
5. Show flexibility and support to other areas of the business in a Maintenance role when needed.
6. Strong communication skills, able to discuss problems and issues with all levels of personnel.
7. A Full Driver's licence.
