Job summary

Bolt Technical is hiring a FM Maintenance Site Engineer to join the on-site Facilities Maintenance team at Greenford. You will support planned and reactive maintenance to ensure the continued operation and safety of key infrastructure across the site.

We’re looking for an electrically biased engineer with experience in industrial or distribution environments, able to work to PPM schedules and respond to faults promptly. The role includes an on-call rota and a stable long-term contract.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified (16th/17th Edition preferred, 18th desirable).
• Experience in warehouse/distribution environment beneficial.
• Strong electrical systems experience in industrial settings.
• Experience with PPM schedules and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and building services.
• Fault finding, testing, and electrical isolation in line with H&S regulations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory testing and building regulations.
• Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks).

Job Title: FM Maintenance Site Engineer

Location: Greenford, UB6

Salary: £38,590 per annum + up to 4% annual bonus (£1,543) + Overtime at x1.3

Hours: 40 hours per week

Standby: 1 in 3 weeks on-call rota (Greenford AND Hoddesdon Sites - must be able to access both at short notice)

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and building services.
• Fault finding, testing, and electrical isolation in accordance with H&S regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory testing and building regulations.
• Work as part of an on-call rota (1 in every 3 weeks).

What They’re Looking For

• Electrically qualified (ideally 16th or 17th Edition, 18th is desirable).
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment would be beneficial but is not essential
• Strong experience with electrical systems in industrial, warehouse or distribution settings.
• Competent in electrical isolation procedures and fault diagnosis.
• Experience working to PPM schedules and service level agreements.
• A team player with a flexible, hands-on approach to other maintenance requirements for the customer
