HarperCollins Publishers UK in Glasgow is seeking a rolling shift Maintenance Engineer to ensure the availability of packaging and production machinery. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, support the Site Services team, and work across early and back shifts with an on-call rota.
The role requires experience with automated machinery, BMS systems, and reading electrical drawings, with a focus on safety and quality in a high-speed production environment.
To work in conjunction with the Site Services Technical Manager and wider M&E team to ensure the availability of machinery and equipment throughout the site, play a pivotal role in monitoring, maintenance, improvement and control of our production, automation and plant operations. Carrying out regular compliance PPM tasks and general reactive maintenance works. Full training on brand-new state of the art high-speed packaging equipment will be provided in a purpose built and new facility.

This role is for a rolling shift engineer position covering early and backshifts depending on operational demands. Early (6am to 2pm) - Back (2pm to 10pm) Monday to Friday. The role is included in an on-call rota with associated on call and overtime payments to provide out of hours site coverage.
