Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for our fast-moving UK manufacturing site. You will perform reactive and proactive electrical maintenance to sustain and improve the facility's electrical infrastructure, including small installations and fault diagnostics.

The role requires experience in commercial or light industrial electrical environments, safe working practices, and the ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications

City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent testing qualification)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Completed apprenticeship in the installation and commissioning of electrical systems
IPAF 3a & 3b (mobile elevated working platforms)
IOSH Working Safely

Responsibilities

Plan and carry out small electrical installations across the facility.
Conduct remedial works following annual fixed-wire inspections by external contractors.
Perform reactive electrical fault finding and repairs on facilities-related systems.
Coordinate tasks with external electrical contractors and ensure work is safe and to standard.
Provide guidance and support when working with an apprentice.
Support electrical installation tasks within production areas as needed.
