Your new role:

As a Facilities & Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing routine maintenance tasks and conducting minor repairs to ensure that all equipment and facilities remain in good working order. You will play a key role in maintaining the upkeep of communal areas and carrying out cleaning duties across the wider facility.

Your responsibilities will also include waste management and performing basic gardening duties to keep the grounds tidy and presentable. Additionally, you will manage stock ordering and inventory checks, handle deliveries and goods inwards, and distribute stock to various departments throughout the facility.

The role also involves contractor liaison and escorting duties. You will ensure that the facility complies with health and safety regulations by conducting regular safety inspections as directed by your management team.

As part of your training, you will be instructed in wing walking and hangar door operations to assist the Flightline. You will often be the first point of contact for tenants and will support the wider facilities team in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the FBO.

About you:

The successful candidate will require basic DIY skills and in-depth understanding of maintenance procedures and problem-solving skills for addressing safety and maintenance concerns. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for giving instructions to contractors.

Successful candidate is required to demonstrate strong customer service skills, organisation multi-tasking and scheduling skills.

You will have a checkable fiver-year employment history and a full and clean driving licence.
