Our team touches all aspects of airport life – from water to energy, rail to roads, baggage systems to runways. The scope and variety of what we do is vast, spanning mechanical, electrical, water, civil, rail and environmental disciplines. Together we are responsible for the performance of 500,000 assets worth £14bn. Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the functionality, look, feel and presentation of the relevant business area is of the highest standard at all times, placing our customers at the heart of everything we do. You will be required to take the lead in ensuring all facilities and infrastructure is fit for purpose, whilst driving compliance and providing a great service with stakeholders.

Your role will involve

  • Reporting & escalation of non conformances & compliance issues to the Duty Engineer.
  • Register all faults identified with the engineering fault desk, follow-up on faults to ensure a satisfactory conclusion including reactive works with the Duty Engineer and Team Leader.
  • Routine inspections of all areas of the Facility & Infrastructure in accordance to the plan, identify asset and infrastructure faults.
  • Take the lead in ensuring all facilities and infrastructure is fit for customer service at all times.
  • Supporting the updating and reporting requirements or the operation and asset performance including but not limited to SQR & QSM.
  • Responsible for owning and attending required training in line with mandatory and desirable training development activities to be both competent & effective in role.


These Skills Are Essential

  • The ability to work to a plan, review the plan and make improvements.
  • Understanding of commercial implications of actions taken.
  • Working towards a Fire Risk Assessment Qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable and ability to obtain and maintain airside licences and permits.
