Role Purpose

TheFacilities and IT Lead is responsible for ensuring that our workplacesacross our all of our offices are safe, functional, well-maintained,and technology-enabled environments that support high levels ofproductivity and people engagement. You will lead a team of 5site-based support staff and play a central role in drivingoperational consistency, sustainability, and efficiency across ourproperty portfolio.

Accountabilities

Facilities Management

  • Lead and manageday-to-day office operations across all office locations, ensuringconsistent service delivery in cleaning, maintenance, post, security,and workspace management.
  • Monitor service performance ofthird-party contractors and suppliers (e.g., cleaners), ensuringcontract compliance and high standards.
  • Ensure all facilitiesare fully compliant with UK statutory and regulatory requirements,including fire safety, health & safety, DSE assessments, and riskreporting.
  • Coordinate office moves, reconfigurations, andspace optimisation in alignment with business needs.
  • Lead a geographically dispersed team of local facilitiesand office support staff.
  • Provide direction, coaching, andperformance management to ensure high-quality service and personaldevelopment.
  • Foster a strong service culture with aproactive, can-do attitude across the team.

Local IT Support Oversight (non-strategic)

  • Oversee first-line IT support operations at the locallevel, including onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, andincident response.
  • Act as liaison between the business andcentralised IT partner for escalated issues and service coordination.
  • Maintain an accurate record of occupancy, deskutilisation, and space plans for all offices.
  • Plan anddeliver office moves, upgrades, and refurbishments with minimaldisruption.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to alignworkplace strategy with future growth or consolidation plans.
  • Own the relationships and performance of third-partyfacilities and IT service providers.
  • Conduct regular reviewsof service contracts for value, compliance, and service levels.
  • Ensure appropriate procurement processes are followed andvalue-for-money is demonstrated.

Sustainability and ESG Contribution

  • Supportthe business’s environmental goals by implementing and monitoringsustainability initiatives across our offices (e.g., energy reduction,recycling).
  • Contribute to ESG reporting by gathering andreporting facilities-related data.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of managing multi-site facilitiesoperations, ideally in a professional services or corporate officeenvironment.
  • Proven people management / leader experienceacross remote or multi-site teams.
  • Familiarity with workplacecompliance: Health & Safety, Fire Safety, DSE, etc.
  • Strongworking knowledge of contractor and vendor management.
  • Basicunderstanding of IT support processes and technologies.
  • Budget management and cost-control experience.
  • UKdriving license and willingness to travel regularly between offices.
  • Knowledge ofsustainability reporting (e.g., energy use, ESG metrics).
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., 9001, 14001) andbuilding certifications.
