North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust in Brampton is seeking a Facilities Housekeeper for a fixed-term maternity cover. The role will work 35 hours per week on a 3-week rota with shifts 7am-3pm and alternate weekends, supporting cleanliness on hospital wards and trust premises.

You will contribute to in-house catering, assist in staff induction, and uphold trust values of Kindness, Respect, Ambition and Collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ 2 in Cleaning and Support Services.
• Knowledge of cleaning, food handling/hygiene, COSHH procedures.
• Able to communicate with patients with behavioural issues or severe communication difficulties.
• Flexible approach to work.

• Clean furniture and fittings, mirrors etc, to include moving of furniture and equipment as required to enable efficient cleaning

To promote and provide a high standard of cleanliness on our hospital wards, clinical areas and other trust premises

To provide a quality catering service in house

Main duties of the job

Floor buffing

Shampoo carpets with extraction machines

Clean inside windows, frames and sills

Clean furniture and fittings, mirrors etc, to include moving of furniture and equipment as required to enable efficient cleaning

Assist in induction of new staff

Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of cleaning equipment

Attend all Mandatory training sessions
