Job summary

Found Consultancy is seeking an experienced Facilities & H&S Manager to lead safety and facility operations at our Sheffield site. You will drive compliance with HSE legislation, oversee hard and soft FM services, and champion continuous improvement in safety and facilities standards.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong people management, and proven experience in facilities and health & safety leadership within a large operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Health, Safety and Environmental activities across site.
• Ensure compliance with current HSE legislation and company requirements.
• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and systems.
• Carry out risk assessments, audits and inspections.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
• Provide HSE advice, guidance and training to employees and management.
• Monitor and improve health, safety and environmental performance.
• Manage and maintain relevant HSE documentation and records.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture throughout the business.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage all aspects of distribution H&S warehouse, inbound / storage / E-com order fulfilment & and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise logistics and warehousing processes + manage new projects
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety regulations.
• To reduce waste costs across the area by delivering improvement activity to drive down costs.
• Support on boarding of new clients and play a key part of the senior management team

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large European / Global organisation in a dynamic Facilities & H&S Manager appointment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organisational abilities and a deep understanding of Facilities logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, commercial operations dealing with high profile customer KPI's / SLA's / compliance.

This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, maintaining safe and efficient workplaces, and fostering a positive safety culture.
