Job summary

Kirklees College is looking for a Support Facilitator at the Taylor Hill Centre to assist with maintenance of the grounds and animal enclosures. The role reports to the senior technician; hours are negotiable, with 12 hours per week across 52 weeks.

We expect construction/site maintenance qualifications or relevant experience, and a DBS check is required. The role supports staff and learners, contributing to a safe and well-kept environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and repair of grounds and animal enclosures.
• Preferred qualifications in construction/site maintenance.
• DBS check required and safeguarding focus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain onsite workshop, tools and equipment.
• Maintain grounds, gardening, paths and boundaries, and animal enclosures.
• Collaborate with technician team and senior technician; uphold health and safety standards.
• Work outdoors and indoors; adapt to seasonal needs.
