Job summary

Consensus is hiring a Site Maintenance Officer to look after grounds, access routes, and general maintenance at our Midlands site. You will cut grass, trim hedges, operate planned maintenance, and ensure all plant machinery is safe and well maintained.

The role requires a full driving license and an enhanced DBS before start; you’ll work to keep residents and visitors safe and premises welcoming. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for development within a supportive team

Qualifications

Related role qualification preferred.
Experience in site and facilities management.
Ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
Full clean driving licence; enhanced DBS to be completed prior to start (essential).

Responsibilities

To ensure that the grounds are well maintained and that all approaches to the services are accessible, neat, tidy and clear of any hazards. To cut grass and hedges as required.
To operate a planned system of general maintenance and repairs.
To ensure the smooth running of all plant machinery and equipment, including safety and state of repair.
To carry out decorating and re‑decorating as applicable.
To carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard to the Health and Safety of self, colleagues, residents and visitors to the Home.
