About the role
As part of theFacilitiesTeam,you’ll provideessential process, analytical, and administrative support to ensure the continuoussafetyand maintenance of our buildings and surrounding areas at Drax Power Station.
Your role will be crucial insupporting the maintenance of portable fire extinguishersas part ofmaintaininga safe environment for all colleagues, contractors and visitorson site.
You’llwork closely with the Facilities Manager andtheDrax Fire Technician,assistingin compliance, maintenance, and coordination of essential site operationsand other tasks as part of the team.
Whowe’relooking for
To be successful in this roleyou’llbedetail-oriented, proactive and passionate aboutmaintaininga safe and efficient working environment.
You’ll demonstrate a keen interest in developing your career in facilities management. Knowledge of basic fire regulations would be a plus, but full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills and further experience with Maximo is ideal.
This role requires great communication skills, as you’llbe engaging with teams at all levels, including our Senior Leadership Team. You’ll be a problem solver with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
