Job summary

Circle Health Group Hampshire Clinic – Basingstoke seeks a Fabric Operative to join the Engineering team. This full-time role (37.5 hours) covers painting, decorating and fabric tasks across internal and external areas.

You will perform joinery, plumbing, and maintenance, ensuring redecoration aligns with lease terms and schedules across sites within the cluster. Applicants should hold CSCS, Pasma/Ladder training and experience with wall coverings, with an ability to work independently and

Qualifications

• Must hold a CSCS card at the appropriate level.
• Trained on high working, including Pasma/Ladder use.
• Ability to hang all types/styles of wall coverings (wide width, fabric/paper backed).
• Ability to work on own initiative in a methodical way.
• Alternatively, partial engineering training or apprenticeship with painting/decorating/carpentry focus.
• Experience working with contractors and others.
• Good understanding of COSHH regulations and health & safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide painting, decorating and general fabric tasks across Circle Health Group facilities (internal and external).
• Complete fabric tasks including joinery works and patient/staff facing fabric items.
• Carry out basic plumbing duties including TMV maintenance and toilet unblocking.
• Offer redecoration and fabric repair guidance across sites.
• Support across clusters when required for holidays, sickness or vacancies.
• Ensure redecoration aligns with lease obligations; interior every 7 years and special redecorations every ten years.
• Adhere to mandatory training requirements.
