Job summary

Hunter Selection is partnering with a manufacturing business in Sutton Coldfield to recruit a hands-on Facilities Engineer. The role focuses on maintaining site facilities, infrastructure, safety systems and compliance to high standards, with a Monday to Friday days pattern.

You will coordinate contractors, lead improvement projects and ensure documentation is up to date, with a salary range of £40,000 to £45,000 and a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, maintenance or plant engineering.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial or production environments.
• Knowledge of health & safety, fire safety and site compliance.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain site facilities and infrastructure.
• Coordinate contractors and oversee maintenance activities.
• Support fire safety, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain site security systems and asset protection measures.
• Drive facility improvement and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation and records are kept up to date.
