Job summary

Dunraven Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Facilities Engineer to operate and monitor industrial boilers across shifts. You will perform daily boiler checks, record readings in the CMMS and respond to alarms as first responder.

You will also maintain HVAC, compressed air and refrigeration systems, support statutory boiler inspections, ensure water treatment and legionella compliance, and uphold health and safety standards across site.

Qualifications

Boiler operation qualification is required.
Water treatment qualification is required.
Experience with CMMS for maintenance records.
Knowledge of legionella compliance.
Strong health, safety and environmental requirements understanding.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor industrial boilers, covering shifts.
Complete daily boiler checks: pressure, temperature, water levels, safety valves.
Record boiler readings and maintenance activities in the CMMS.
Respond to boiler alarms and faults as first responder.
Carry out planned maintenance on burners, flues and heat exchangers.
Monitor HVAC systems including AHUs and extract fans.
Maintain compressed air systems and distribution networks.
Support statutory boiler inspections and maintain records.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site utilities and facilities.
