About the role

This is a full-time role.

The base location for this role is Kettering, NN16 8PX.

What you'll do

This friendly and supportive Site Engineering team is led by the Engineering Manager who will be on hand to guide and advise you through your Engineering career at Greggs.

The role will involve engaging with the site teams in line with our policies and procedures, which are all important parts of this key role.

You will work to safely maintain and improve the performance of facilities, equipment, and services on site, delivering excellent standards in a planned preventative way. You’ll work collaboratively within and across the site teams, including with the Maintenance Manager, Site Services Manager, Team Members, and other departments. General base level will include facilities repair and maintenance, day-to-day snagging, and site maintenance.

About you

You'll fit right in at Greggs as a Facilities Engineer if you can demonstrate:

• You’ve got a multi-skilled background, ideally within the food or FMCG sectors

You’re electrically or mechanically biased or multi-skilled and at a minimum, trained to NVQ level 3

You’re experienced with Microsoft 365 packages, SAP systems, and are familiar with CMMS (or other); Agility experience would be advantageous

You’re comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people, and you have the confidence to respond positively when under pressure

You can show us that you’re able to comply with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards, which are very important to us here at Greggs
