Facilities Engineer - Fen End, Warwickshire - Up to A£29.82/hr - Inside IR35

Are you experienced in facilities or infrastructure maintenance, ideally within the automotive industry or a similar environment?

Join us as a Facilities Engineer and be responsible for maintaining and enhancing state-of-the-art facilities in a dynamic environment. This role involves innovative, leadership, and hands-on facilities management to support our company's operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, estimating costs for equipment, labour, materials, and related expenses.
  2. Oversee building space allocation and layout to optimise efficiency and functionality.
  3. Coordinate services for facilities expansion and maintenance.
  4. Establish and enforce health and safety standards to ensure a secure workplace.
  5. Manage projects independently, guide junior staff, and review their work.
  6. Address complex problems with innovative solutions to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in facilities or infrastructure maintenance, preferably in automotive or Grounds Maintenance settings.
  • Leadership experience with strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance principles.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and basic office applications.
  • Relevant health and safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) and project management skills (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
