Our client based in Oxford is currently recruiting for a Facilities Engineer to join their team. As a Facilities Engineer, you will support a wide range of maintenance activities, ensuring buildings, services, and equipment operate at peak performance. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day operations and exciting in-house projects.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain and repair building and machinery issues to a high standard
2. Complete Facilities Job Requests per SLA, prioritizing Health and Safety concerns
3. Support and perform periodic preventive maintenance tasks
4. Update records of all work activities and tasks completed
5. Assist with projects within and outside the Facilities department

Qualifications & Requirements

1. GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths, and Science or international equivalents (e.g., O-levels or other secondary education credentials)
2. Recognized electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, BTEC National, or equivalent in electrical engineering)
3. Previous experience in a facilities or electrical engineering role
4. Strong technical aptitude with excellent fault-finding skills
5. Proficient in MS Office with good communication abilities
