Job summary

Pertemps in St Helens is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance projects and coordinate on-site contractors. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will ensure compliance with legislative requirements and maintain up-to-date site drawings.

The role requires electrical wiring experience, CAD skills, and strong communication. Benefits include 25 days holiday, pension, and an on-site gym and restaurant.

Qualifications

• Experience of electrical wiring installations including single and three phase supply distribution.
• Must be computer literate with all Microsoft applications.
• HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Have Auto CAD experience.
• Confident communicator and able to clearly and professionally communicate with wide verity of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing routine maintenance.
• Communicating and coordinating with internal colleagues and contractors.
• Ensuring all work complies to legislative requirements.
• Updating site drawings as required.
• Supervising electrical inspections and keeping appropriate records.
• Prioritising workloads.
