Are you a well-organised, proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for keeping spaces safe and running smoothly? We're on the lookout for a Facilities & Health & Safety Coordinator to join our busy Retail Operations team based in vibrant Farringdon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting a portfolio of retail stores, coordinating maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.

Your Role

As the first point of contact for all store maintenance and Health & Safety queries, you'll be the engine behind our store support function. Working closely with the Retail Facilities Manager, you'll make sure maintenance issues are resolved quickly and efficiently while ensuring high standards of safety across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor maintenance and H&S inboxes, log requests, and coordinate responses.

Raise jobs with suppliers, track work progress, and escalate when needed.

Create and manage purchase orders and support invoice processing with finance.

Track maintenance spend and support budget monitoring.

Set up new suppliers and maintain contractor data in the MaintainX system.

Assist with new store openings (e.g., utilities and PPM scheduling).

Support store closures by coordinating utility/service cancellations.

Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and PPM schedules.

Distribute emergency contact info and respond to urgent maintenance queries.

Conduct occasional site visits to assess store maintenance and safety needs.

What You'll Bring

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.

A solid understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.

Confident communicator - face-to-face, by phone, and in writing.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.

A collaborative team player who can also work independently.

Experience in a similar facilities or admin support role is desirable.
