A key healthcare organization in Doncaster is seeking a Facilities Co-ordinator to manage the daily operations of cleaning and portering services. The successful candidate will provide operational support and line manage team leaders, ensuring effective service delivery. The role requires experience in staff management and familiarity with IT systems. This position offers NHS benefits including a generous holiday entitlement and health support.
The role of Facilities Co-ordinator plays a key part in our patient experience. The successful candidate will work with our other Facilities Coordinators and will be jointly responsible for the day-to-day management of our cleaning & portering services. They will operate IT packages and web-based systems used by the Service Department to assist in workforce planning, managing service resource levels, and service delivery assurance.
They will provide daily operational support to the Facilities Lead for the delivery and coordination of portering services, cleaning, catering (ward-based), and deep cleaning. The Facilities Co-ordinator will line manage our Facilities Services Team Leaders to ensure that services, ad-hoc tasks, and projects are planned, managed, and delivered effectively within the financial budget.
The working hours for this role are 08:00 - 16:00, five days a week, including weekends and bank holidays. Support in covering for other Facilities Coordinators may be required depending on service needs. Enhancements for night-time, bank holiday, and weekend work are offered.
Interviews will be held on 3rd September 2025 and will include a 10-minute presentation. Candidates should discuss previous experience, their goals for the first six months, and personalize their supporting statements. Use of AI or other tools is discouraged unless personal insights are added.
