Job summary

Pilgrim’s Europe in Llanidloes is seeking a reliable Facilities Cleaner to join our team. The role handles canteens, toilets, laundry areas and offices, upholding strict hygiene and safety standards in a busy site. You will sweep, mop, dust and restock supplies, with attention to procedures and time management.

A proactive, team-oriented approach is essential. Shift: Monday to Friday, 05:15–13:15 or 08:30–15:30. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and Hygiene Regulations.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and SDS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean staff facilities including canteens, changing areas, toilets, and offices to required standards.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, bin emptying and surface polishing.
• Maintain laundry room cleanliness and manage cleaning products and PPE inventory.
• Launder dirty gloves and ensure clean gloves are distributed to production staff.
• Monitor toilet areas and restock consumables as needed.
• Check fridge temperatures in staff canteen and report variances to management.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.
