Job summary

Places for People in the United Kingdom is hiring a hands-on cleaner to keep shared indoor and outdoor areas clean and safe. You will receive full training, follow Health and Safety policies, and assist with on-site safety checks including alarm tests and emergency lighting.

You’ll work indoors and outdoors, perform practical tasks, and contribute to a welcoming, safe environment for customers and colleagues. A full driving licence is helpful for moving between sites.

Qualifications

• Awareness of COSHH and Health & Safety
• Knowledge and awareness of health, safety, environmental & compliance relating to cleaning products
• Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Keep shared indoor and outdoor areas clean and safe.
• Complete training and follow Health and Safety requirements.
• Support on-site safety checks, including testing fire alarms and emergency lighting.
• Uphold the organisation's People Promises through inclusive behaviour.
• Some manual handling with a safety-minded approach.
