Job summary

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are seeking a Cleaner to maintain safe and hygienic environments across its buildings and facilities. You will clean offices, changing rooms, reception areas, and related spaces using a range of cleaning equipment and chemicals, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic office/centre cleaning procedures.
• High cleanliness standards with attention to hygiene and safety (COSHH basics).
• Ability to prioritise and organise daily duties.
• Good communication and customer service when interacting with staff and the public.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on weekends with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum clean/sweep/mop all floor areas as appropriate.
• Dust and polish all furnishings in designated areas.
• Clean windows in accordance with the predetermined programme.
• Clean toilets and washbasins and replenish consumables as required.
• Assist with cleaning with Fitness Suites / studios.
• Cleaning/Dusting of soft play (site dependent).
• Emptying litter and recycling bins.
