Position Details:

  • Bonnyrigg Primary School - 16 hours per week, Permanent, 38 weeks per year
  • Penicuik High School - 15 hours per week, Permanent, 38 weeks per year
  • Roslin Primary School - 7.5 hours per week, Permanent, 38 weeks per year

Working Pattern: Various depending on location

Please note that it is Midlothian Council's policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.

The minimum actual salary for this position is £13.79 per hour.

Responsibilities

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.

Successful candidates will require PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children. You will need to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment with Midlothian Council, at no cost to you.
