Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to support operations in Defence on a full-time basis (37 hours per week). You will help maintain high facility standards, assist with contractor processes, and ensure health and safety compliance while representing the company with a positive brand image.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar role, be adaptable to changing priorities, and demonstrate excellent communication and timekeeping.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar facilities role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work to a schedule and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Keep building exterior clean and in good repair.
• Assist with contractor sign-in/out and site policies.
• Open and close the building as required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold brand image.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
