Job summary

A local government organization is seeking a part-time School Crossing Patrol at Beith Primary School. This temporary role requires you to safely assist children and parents crossing the road during school hours. Working times are approximately 45 minutes in the morning and afternoon. Candidates should demonstrate reliability and the ability to work with children. This role is subject to PVG checks.

Location: Beith Primary School and Nursery Glebe Road Beith, KA15 1AZ

Rate: £12.60 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 7.5 hours per week

Job Summary

Temporary until 24th February 2026

We may conduct our interviews in person or using Microsoft Teams for video calling. All you need is a device with a camera and access to the internet. We will provide guidance and instructions on how to use this method if your interview is being held virtually.

This post is mainly performing School Crossing Patrol duties within the Facilities Management Team. The main duties are to safely cross children and parents to and from Beith Primary School. The working times are approximately 45 minutes, morning and afternoon at 8:30am and then returning at 14:30pm.
