Job summary

Hessle High School and Penshurst Primary School are seeking a proactive Facilities Assistant to join the Facilities Team under the Facilities Manager. You will take responsibility for Security, Keyholding, Janitorial and Maintenance duties, together with Health & Safety responsibilities.

The successful candidate will bring experience of Health & Safety practices and equipment safety monitoring, and hold a First Aid at Work qualification along with a full UK driving licence.

• Educated to a good standard in English and Mathematics.

Job description

As a Facilities Assistant you will work as a proactive member of the Facilities Team, under the direction of the schools Facilities Manager. You will be responsible for Security, Keyholding, Janitorial and Maintenance duties along with Health & Safety responsibilities.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of Health & Safety practices and monitoring of equipment safety. Candidates will also be educated to a good standard in English and Mathematics, you will also hold a Fist Aid at work qualification and full UK driving licence. You will be able to work using your own initiative and be able to establish professional relationships with colleagues.
