Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a Facilities Assistant to help run Defence facilities on a full-time basis (37 hours per week). You will maintain a high standard of facility management, support the facilities team with contractor sign-in/out, and help keep the exterior of sites clean and well maintained.

We value reliable, communicative team players who can adapt to changing priorities and work safely under pressure, Monday to Friday days.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar facilities role.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
• Excellent communicator with reliability and timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance.
• Keep exterior of site clean and in good repair.
• Assist facilities team with contractor sign-in/out and site policies.
• Open and/or close the building as required.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold brand image.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
