Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Facilities Support worker within the Estates & Facilities Management Team to help deliver cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundry across hospital sites. The post is Band 2, 12 hours per week, with Sunday shifts and unsocial hour payments as detailed in the notice.

Applicants should be prepared to work across Domestic Service, Food Services, Laundry and Portering tasks, maintain cross-contamination controls, and comply

Qualifications

• Flexibility to cover various service areas (cleaning, catering, laundry, portering)
• Ability to work in a hospital/clinical environment
• Willingness to adhere to infection control and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic, kitchen, laundry and portering tasks across wards and sites
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used correctly and safely
• Report faults, safety issues and stock levels to supervisor
• Support meal services and patient care activities as required
• Participate in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable hospital environment
